These Terms & Conditions apply when you access our website, create an account, place an order, purchase a product, or otherwise interact with Hidden Archives.
By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Hidden Archives website and all purchases made through it.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page. Your continued use of our website after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and Australia.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may offer subscriptions in future. If we do, separate subscription terms will apply.

2. PRODUCTS
Hidden Archives sells special edition, collectible and limited-release books and related products.
Product details, images, descriptions, inclusions and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. However, minor variations may occur between product images, digital mockups and final physical products.
This may include reasonable variations in colour, foil finish, sprayed edges, embossing, debossing, printing, binding, packaging, paper tone, or other production details.
We reserve the right to update product details, correct errors, or change availability at any time.
Some Hidden Archives products are limited edition or produced in small quantities.
Placing an order does not guarantee future availability of the same product, edition, design, format, or price.
Where a product is limited in quantity, we may limit the number of copies available per customer, household, account, payment method, or shipping address.
We reserve the right to cancel or adjust orders that appear to be placed for resale, fraud, misuse, or unfair purchasing advantage.
3. LIMITED EDITIONS & AVAILABILITY
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time without notice, except where you have already placed and paid for an order.
Shipping costs, taxes, duties, customs charges or other fees may apply depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
If a pricing error occurs, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund, or contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
If your payment cannot be processed, your order may not be accepted or may be cancelled.
You are responsible for ensuring that all order details are correct before completing checkout, including your name, email address, shipping address, billing details and product selection.
6. PRE-ORDERS
Many Hidden Archives products may be offered as pre-orders.
Pre-order products will include an estimated dispatch timeframe where available. These timeframes are estimates only and may change due to production schedules, supplier delays, freight delays, customs processing, quality control, or other circumstances outside our control.
If there is a significant delay, we will provide updates where reasonably possible.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that the product is not ready for immediate dispatch and that delivery may occur at a later date.
Pre-orders cannot be cancelled for change of mind unless we choose to allow it or unless required by law.
7. PRODUCT CHANGES & PRODUCT VARIATIONS
Because special editions may involve custom printing, foiling, sprayed edges, dust jackets, slipcases, boxes, inserts, ribbons, certificates, access cards or other production elements, minor production variations may occur.
These variations are not considered faults where they are minor, cosmetic, expected within manufacturing tolerances, or do not materially affect the use or value of the product.
If a product has a major fault, is damaged, incorrect, or not as described, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.
We ship to the locations made available at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by postal delays, courier delays, public holidays, customs processing, weather events, incorrect address details, or other external factors.
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Hidden Archives is not responsible for parcels delayed, lost, returned, or misdelivered because incorrect or incomplete shipping details were provided at checkout.
If an order is returned to us due to incorrect address details, failure to collect, or failed delivery attempts, additional shipping fees may apply to resend the order.
8. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
9. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Where international shipping is available, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, fees, charges, or local requirements that may apply in their country.
Hidden Archives is not responsible for delays caused by customs, border processing, or international postal services.
If an international order is refused, abandoned, or returned due to unpaid customs charges or import restrictions, shipping fees may not be refundable.
10. RETURNS & REFUNDS
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, repair, or other remedy if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, materially different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet consumer guarantees.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
This includes, but is not limited to, situations where you:

changed your mind after ordering;

ordered the wrong item;

found the item cheaper elsewhere;

no longer have a use for the item;

did not read the product description, estimated dispatch timeframe, or pre-order details before purchasing.
At our discretion, we may offer a store credit or exchange in limited circumstances. We are not required to do so unless required by law.
Shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
11. DAMAGED FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at: contact@hiddenarchives.com.au
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item, packaging and shipping label.
We may request further information before assessing the issue.
Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy.
12. CANCELLATIONS
Orders may not always be able to be cancelled once placed, especially where payment has been processed, production has commenced, stock has been allocated, or dispatch preparation has begun.
For pre-orders, cancellation availability may depend on the product, production stage and terms listed on the product page.

Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that cancellation will be possible.
13. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
You may be able to create an account on our website.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete account information.
We may suspend or terminate accounts where we suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, breach of these Terms, or unlawful activity.

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, disruptive, or unauthorised purpose.
You must not attempt to interfere with the website’s operation, security, checkout process, product availability, or customer access.
You must not use bots, scraping tools, automated purchasing tools, malicious code, or other methods intended to manipulate access to limited-release products.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, block access, or suspend accounts where misuse is suspected.

All content on the Hidden Archives website, including text, logos, branding, images, product designs, graphics, layouts, artwork, photography and website content, is owned by Hidden Archives or used with permission.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or use our content without prior written consent.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment providers, shipping providers, social media platforms, author pages, publisher pages or external resources.
Hidden Archives is not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, cancel affected orders, or refuse orders where information was inaccurate. If your order is affected by an error, we will contact you where reasonably possible.

To the extent permitted by law, Hidden Archives is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of our website, products, or services.

FUTURE SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Hidden Archives may offer subscription boxes, recurring release plans, memberships, or other recurring purchase options in future.
If subscriptions are made available, the relevant product page or checkout page will set out the applicable subscription details before purchase, including pricing, billing frequency, renewal dates, inclusions, shipping arrangements and cancellation terms.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the subscription terms shown at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically if this is clearly stated at checkout. If automatic renewal applies, payments will be charged using the payment method provided unless the subscription is cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.
Cancellation requests must be made before the relevant renewal or billing date. Cancellations requested after a renewal payment has been processed may apply to the next billing cycle, unless otherwise required by law.
We do not offer refunds for subscription renewals due to change of mind once payment has been processed, unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
